To setup your Business Email on a Third Party Email Client you will need the following details.

Computer Email Account Setup

As trueserve Email Accounts are free, the service is (generally speaking) unsupported. However, we do like to make sure customers are happy with their systems. Please use the following details for your devices.

The settings you need are the following (details are for Microsoft Outlook but details will be similar for various other email clients or devices):

Incoming mail server:
Account type: IMAP
Description: (mailbox you are setting up)
Incoming mail server: mail.domain.co.uk (domain.co.uk being your domain)
Username: (full email address that you are setting up)
Password: (Password for mailbox)
Port: 143 (or try changing this to 993 if you have problems setting up mail and you have all other settings correct)

Outgoing mail server:
Description: (mailbox you are setting up)
Outgoing mail server: mail.domain.co.uk (domain.co.uk being your domain)
Use only this server : Ticked
Use authentication: Ticked
Username: (full email address that you are setting up)
Password: (Password for mailbox)
Port: 25 (or try changing this to 587 if you have problems sending or setting up mail and you have all other settings correct)

SSL Setting: Off (or none). NOTE: On some devices (including iPhones), turning SSL ‘ON’ is often required for Mail to work
